Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of HashSac and describe the responsibilities of users when engaging with Pins, #Tags, messaging, and other platform features. These terms also include HashSac's public Child Safety Standards, our prohibition on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), our 18+ eligibility requirement, and core South African merchant compliance provisions required for online payments.

Public Child Safety Standards

Child Safety Standards and CSAE Prohibition

This section is HashSac's active, public child safety declaration. It clearly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), confirms that HashSac is restricted to users aged 18 and older, and provides a direct contact for child safety issues.

  • HashSac has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, trafficking, or any content or conduct that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes children.
  • HashSac is only available to users who are 18 years of age or older. Users younger than 18 are prohibited from creating accounts or using the platform.
  • Any account suspected of belonging to a person under 18 may be restricted, suspended, or removed.
  • Users must not upload, share, request, link to, promote, or attempt to facilitate CSAE or CSAM in any form, including text, images, video, audio, hashtags, profile information, Pins, messages, or links.
  • We may remove violating content, preserve relevant evidence where legally appropriate, terminate accounts, and report suspected CSAE or CSAM to law enforcement or appropriate child safety authorities.
  • Child safety concerns, including suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or under-18 account use, can be reported to the HashSac Child Safety Team at support@hashsac.com.
  • These child safety standards are published as part of this public Terms & Conditions page and are intended to be globally accessible to any individual.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using HashSac, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
  • If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform.

2. Eligibility and Account Use

  • HashSac is only available to users who are 18 years of age or older. Users younger than 18 are prohibited from creating accounts or using the platform.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate information where required and keep it up to date.
  • You may not impersonate others or use HashSac for fraudulent activity.

3. Platform Purpose

  • HashSac is a location-powered, #Tag-based discovery and conversation platform.
  • Content visibility and engagement may depend on location relevance and user settings.
  • We may modify, suspend, or improve features to maintain quality and safety.

4. User Content and Conduct

  • You retain ownership of content you create, but grant HashSac a license to host, display, and process it to operate the service.
  • You must not post unlawful, abusive, misleading, or harmful content.
  • Harassment, hate speech, and malicious behavior are prohibited.
  • We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms.

5. Safety, Moderation, and Enforcement

  • HashSac uses a combination of automated checks and human review to protect users.
  • We reserve the right to investigate reports and enforce policy actions, including warnings, suspensions, or account termination.
  • Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.

6. Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Where paid services are offered, refund eligibility depends on the nature of the service and whether it has already been consumed or activated.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted through official customer support channels.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period required by payment providers.
  • If a specific paid offering has separate refund terms, those terms will be presented at checkout and will apply in addition to these terms.

7. Delivery Policy

  • HashSac is a digital platform. Delivery occurs electronically when account access, features, or digital services are provisioned on your profile.
  • Delivery time for digital features is generally immediate, but may vary due to verification, fraud checks, or technical maintenance.
  • If delivery delays occur, users may contact customer support for assistance.

8. Transaction Currency

  • All transactions on HashSac are processed in South African Rand (ZAR).
  • Any displayed equivalent in another currency is for reference only and does not change the ZAR settlement amount.

9. Export Restrictions

  • HashSac digital services may be subject to applicable export control and sanctions laws.
  • Users may not use, export, or re-export any part of the service in violation of applicable laws and regulations.
  • If export restrictions are not applicable to a specific service offering, this clause will be interpreted accordingly.

10. Credits and Feature Access

  • Certain platform actions may rely on credits or usage thresholds to discourage abuse and encourage intentional participation.
  • Credit models and limits may change as HashSac evolves.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • HashSac is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or perfect availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, HashSac and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
  • Your use of HashSac is at your own risk.

13. Governing Law and Domicile

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • The country of domicile for HashSac is South Africa.
  • Any disputes will be handled by competent courts in South Africa, subject to mandatory consumer protection rights.

14. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.
  • Continued use after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
